DeckfinderTM Key Features

DeckFinder provides a very high accuracy (better than 20 cm) during final approach, supporting missions specially while landing and taking-off.
The system can handle highly dynamic situations with an update rate of 15 Hz and a scalable operation area up to 1.1.Km. Additionally, it’s components are designed and built to perform optimally in the installed settings; the ruggedized Ground Station Units are built to withstand extreme temperature conditions ranging from -32°C to +55°C and the Airborne Receiver (1.6 Kg) has been manufactured to operate in salt water environments.

System Level Features:

  • Provision of relative 3D position
  • Provision of relative heading
  • Independent from Global Navigation Satellite Systems
  • Radio-frequency based solution – independent from day / night & environmental conditions
  • All data is determined in the airborne receiver – low latency, independent from data links
  • In line with all relevant military standards

In general

  • Ad-hoc deployable or permanent installation of Ground Stations
  • Line and/or battery powered
  • Fully ruggedized system components to withstand harsh environmental and operational conditions.
  • Self-calibration capability
  • Autonomous and easy to use, no special training required, no additional personnel required to operate the system

Operational Temperature Range

  • -20 °C to +60 °C

Dust & Water Proof

  • No ingress of dust complete; protection against contact
  • Immersion up to 1m permanently
The GSU is designed to be operated in salt water environment and can be exposed to salt water spray but must not be exposed permanently to salt water.
